The Tugendhat House - Mies van der Rohe - Introducion

Mies van der Rohe described his inspiration with three words: "Less is more." The Tugendhat House, located in Czech Republic was built in 1929 and displayed the essence of Mies' agenda throughout his life. He believed that structure must be exemplified in architectural creation and that simplicity should thrive within the deliberate details. The Tugendhat House expressed an open plan creating a natural connection of spaces.
